The Business Management division of Texas Productions does just that; we manage the business side of your business. We manage clients who are really good at their job, but may not have the time, the skill and experience, or maybe even an interest in bookkeeping or the financial side of business. Have you ever been at work when someone queries an invoice you don’t have with you, urgently needs an equipment/price list/quote now - and you’re in a paddock - or is going to disconnect your telephone or electricity because you haven’t been home for 3 weeks and don’t have your account number with you? We do all that.
All private companies have the same basic requirements; detailed accounts and good bookkeeping practices are integral to any potential success.
We can offer you a competitively priced service that will save you having to employ several staff. You will not have to deal with the difficulties all small businesses face related to staff absence due to sick leave and holidays, as our office has someone available to you at all times. In addition, you will not incur any additional staff expenses including compulsory superannuation and leave entitlements.
Texas Productions offers a range of services, based around business and office management, tailored to the individual client. Our business has been operating for 20 years and we would like to offer our services to your business so you can utilise some or all of the following:
Bookkeeping services including:
Generate your invoices and send them to your clients, politely extract funds from any slow payers, bank your cheques, pay your bills. We will design a form for your approval that you can fax or email to us for preparation of your client invoices and we actively pursue receipt of all payments owed to you.
Comprehensive computerised accounts using MYOB, which we have used for 18 years, with simplified Cash Position reports each fortnight showing the important things - what you are owed, how much you owe and how much you have in the bank.
Provision of management accounts with full detail for reporting to investors, and/or your Bank Manager/Accountant/Taxation Office/Auditor
All filing and storage of invoices, receipts, petty cash, other data
Reconciliation of all bank accounts, credit cards and petty cash
Liaising with Accountant, Bank Manager, Finance Companies and other statutory bodies as and when required
Completion of statutory documents including Business Activity Statements, company annual return, all employment, payroll, workers compensation and superannuation documentation
Accounting for GST, PAYG Withholding (including annual summaries) and company taxation liabilities generally, including timely payment as required by the ATO
We raise finance for your new equipment, car, truck or house and organise the rego and insurance. Because we operate as a block of small companies, we can get great rates on finance and insurance and because we speak Accountant, you never have to be threatened, bamboozled or made to feel like an idiot again!
Secretarial services when required: typing correspondence, sending faxes and emails, organising local and international couriers, attending to matters arising in your absence overseas or interstate. In addition, we will compile and send out your CV, your gear list and any other information you or your clients require.
